The name ‘Apatite’ is derived from the Greek word, meaning ‘to deceive’. This is due to the variety of colors and formations in this stone which makes it easy to mistake it for other minerals. Interestingly, it has also been used to create pigment by crushing up the stones, just like how Lapis Lazuli was used by the ancient Egyptians.
Blue Apatite is a deeply spiritual crystal, with a cleansing influence on the aura, especially the mental body.
It is a wonderful crystal for personal power and achieving your goals - clearing away confusion, and negativity while stimulating the intellect to expand knowledge and truth.
